After one effort to repeal California’s gas tax failed, another initiative is gaining momentum.
While some are against the added tax, some say it’s needed to fix state roads.
“I think we should repeal it,” said one resident.
That is what some in California are trying to do to the gas tax, after it raised the price of regular unleaded by 12 cents a gallon and diesel by 20 cents.
“It affects me big time. I drive 80 miles round trip daily. The more I spend for the gas is the less I have to spend on food and everything else,” said another Fresno resident.
